No its not or was a tortoise. Its the two halves of one of the three moulds that i have been working on.

My concerns are that there is gaps between the two halves that should not be. Meaning that i dont have thin edges for blending.

Enjoyed the warm weather today working in the workshop and outside.This is my first time making moulds like these. Made a mistake with the upper head mould as did not seal the water clay and it affected the Get coat from setting.
Improved the next two pieces; chin and neck.
i have seen a potential failure as can see gaps between the two parts. I hope with a strong clamp the gaps will disappear.
I will make a test casting using Alginate.
First i am currently cleaning out all the oil clay.
